11 Feb Building Jobs in Michigan
Levy Celebrates Career & Technical Education Month by Supporting Skilled Trade Education
At Levy, we see the impact skilled trades have on our world every day. Skilled professionals build the roads we drive on and create the materials that provide strong foundations for our communities. This February during Career and Technical Education Month, we celebrate the people who are choosing these careers that keep our communities growing.
The demand for skilled trades continues to rise, with 500,000 job openings projected in Michigan each year through 2032. That’s why in 2026, Levy is emphasizing partnerships with local skilled-trade schools and training programs to strengthen the workforce pipeline and offer students a clear, supported path into high-demand and high-impact careers.
Our Dearborn team has been especially proud to partner with Detroit’s Workforce of the Future initiative, helping young people explore career pathways and connect with industry professionals who are driving the region’s growth. We also continue to participate in Career Day at Trillium Academy in Taylor and Detroit’s Construction Science Expo, where students can ask questions and see how technical education translates into real work.
We believe in the value of early career awareness and strengthening connections between education and the workforce, inspiring the next generation while showcasing the many rewarding careers that await them in their own backyard.
Investing in the next generation of skilled professionals means investing in the future of our communities, and that’s something we’re proud to help build.
