This policy explains how Edw. C. Levy Co. (“Levy”, “we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on edwclevy.com. It covers what each one does, which choices turn it on, and how to change your mind. For how we handle personal information more generally, see our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include browser local storage and scripts or embedded content loaded from another company’s servers. We use “cookies” in this policy to cover all of these.
First-party cookies are set by edwclevy.com. Third-party cookies and requests come from other companies whose services appear on our pages, such as Google or Vimeo. Our site does not show advertising, and we do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
How we ask for consent
Optional cookies are off until you turn them on. When you first visit, a banner offers Accept, Deny and View preferences. Until you choose, only functional cookies and services run. Statistics and marketing services are blocked, and embedded videos show a placeholder image instead.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a choice to deny Statistics, Marketing and Preferences. This applies on every page, and it overrides any consent you gave earlier. When we detect GPC we also set a Google Analytics opt-out cookie and remove existing Google Analytics cookies. To allow optional cookies again, turn GPC off in your browser first.
Your choice is stored in your browser for 12 months. After that, or if our cookie categories change, we ask again.

Each category can be switched on or off separately, except Functional, which the site needs to work and keep secure.

Google Analytics. With Statistics on, Google Analytics receives the address of the page you view and the page you came from. We remove anything after the “?” in both addresses first, so search terms, email addresses or other values in a link are never sent. Google Analytics does not receive your name or contact details.
Vimeo. Some pages show a Vimeo video. Until Marketing is on, you see a still image instead, and your browser does not contact Vimeo. When Marketing is on, the video player loads from Vimeo, and Vimeo can set its own cookies.

Lifetimes are the maximum; you can delete any cookie sooner in your browser settings.

If you turn Statistics off after allowing it, we delete the _ga and _ga_LZCY00MCK7 cookies. Cookies set on another company’s domain, such as Vimeo’s vuid, can only be removed in your browser settings.
Other third-party services
Some content on our pages loads from other companies’ servers without setting cookies. Your browser still sends those servers your IP address and the fact that you visited edwclevy.com.

We do not use Cloudflare Web Analytics. Our requests to other companies send only the site’s address (https://edwclevy.com/) as the referring page, not the full page address.
Changing or withdrawing consent
You can change your choice at any time with the Manage consent button shown on every page of the site, or with the settings below. Withdrawing consent stops the related services from that moment on. It also deletes our Google Analytics cookies.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking functional cookies may stop contact forms from working. Guides for common browsers:

Changes to this policy
We update this policy when the cookies or services on our site change. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we add a new optional category or service, we ask for your consent again.
